Opening Worm Cans & The Sauce Stirrer
Well, that didn't take long! I direct your attention to Byron
de Arakal's blog, Itchingpost.com. He, too, saw the entry on our
old pal, Your Neighbor's blog questioning Bruce Garlich's
campaign finance donors and dove right into Mayor Mansoor's
campaign finance file. You can view his report by going to the
link on my Useful Links page. I won't attempt to paraphrase his
entry - it's a lot more fun if you read if for yourselves.
Suffice it to say, the hypocrite that runs the CM Press opened a can of worms for his acolyte, our young jailer/mayor. The review of the campaign finance documents at the end of the next mandatory reporting period in ten days is going to be very enlightening! Don't be surprised if the entire roster of the Minutemen appears as donors for Mansoor's campaign, and perhaps Leece's, too.

All the pre-election fun isn't reserved for Costa Mesa these days. Over on the OC Blog Jubal (Matt Cunningham) reports that Newport Beach City Council candidate - and John Crean's favorite sauce stirrer - Barbara Venezia, may not be eligible for a seat on the council because of conflict of interest allegations involving her husband's ownership interests in Rainbow Disposal - a contractor for Newport Beach. If you're interested, copy and paste this link: http://www.ocblog.net/.
